About Ladki Bahin Yojana

This scheme started on 17 August 2024 to support women between 21 and 65 years old living in Maharashtra, giving ₹1,500 per month to eligible women.


Why were applications rejected?

Many applications—over 26 lakh—were rejected because the applicants did not meet the requirements. Some common reasons include:


The woman’s yearly income is above ₹2.5 lakh.


She has a government job or receives a pension.


She owns too much property.


Documents provided were not complete or were false.


Who still gets the benefit

Only women who meet the rules will keep getting help. The rules are:


Must live in Maharashtra.


Annual income must be below ₹2.5 lakh.


All KYC documents must be correct and complete.

Go to the official Ladki Bahin Yojana website: https://ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in.


Click on the Applicant Login option.


Enter your mobile number, password, and captcha.


After logging in, click on the ‘Application Made Earlier’ option.


You will see your application status. If it says "Rejected," your form was not accepted. If it says "Approved," you will get the benefit.
