Baaghi 4 Review: Lots of Action, Weak on Story
Baaghi 4, directed by A. Harsha and released on September 5, 2025, is getting mixed reactions. The movie is full of fights, chases, and violent action, but its weak story and confusing drama have left many viewers disappointed.
Action Over Story
Critics agree that the film’s fight scenes are powerful and Tiger Shroff shows his strength and athletic skills well. But the story feels thin, repetitive, and badly connected.
Cinema Express called it “bloody but silly,” and even said it is the weakest Baaghi movie with too long and confusing storytelling.
Outlook India said the film is “a blood bath that only hurts the audience,” as violence seems to have no real meaning.
Movie Talkies also gave a very negative review, saying the film has no emotional depth, poor clarity, and weak technical quality.
Some Positive Reactions
Not all reviews are bad.
Filmfare gave it 3 out of 5 stars, saying the action looks stylish and praising Harnaaz Sandhu’s confident first film role, while also comparing it to a Tamil thriller about memory loss.
Prabhat Khabar gave 4 stars and praised Tiger’s emotional acting and Sanjay Dutt’s scary villain role, saying these elements make this movie stand out from earlier Baaghi parts.
Audience Reaction: Split Opinions
Fans online have mixed views.
Many fans on social media praised Tiger’s action scenes, calling them “raw,” “intense,” and “killer,” saying he carried the film with his energy. Some even called it a “masterpiece” and celebrated Sanjay Dutt’s strong presence.
Others complained about the boring, predictable story, slow pacing, and weak character development for Sanjay Dutt’s villain role, which, according to them, wasn’t used to full potential.
Technical Problems
Several critics said the film suffers from weak music, uneven editing, and dull camera work. Although it has an Adult (A) certificate full of brutal action, some violent scenes shown in trailers were cut or toned down due to censorship.
Baaghi 4 is a loud, violent action film that gives plenty of stunts and brutal fights but does not have a strong or emotional story. Tiger Shroff’s hard work and Sanjay Dutt’s villain role get some praise, along with Harnaaz Sandhu’s first performance and Sonam Bajwa’s presence. Action fans looking only for excitement may enjoy it, but those expecting a deep story or strong emotions will likely be disappointed.
