Shah Rukh Khan Joins PM Narendra Modi in Celebrating India’s 79th Independence Day on 15th August 2025

 India marked its 79th Independence Day on 15 August 2025 with the theme “Naya Bharat,” which highlights the country’s goal of becoming a strong and advanced nation by 2047.



The celebrations began with Prime Minister Narendra Modi raising the national flag at the Red Fort in Delhi, and then giving a speech to the country.


The event included a special salute by soldiers, 21 gunshots fired using Indian-made 105mm Light Field Guns, and flower petals dropped from Mi-17 helicopters flying above.


Some highlights were a beautiful human display of the Naya Bharat logo made by 2,500 NCC cadets and volunteers, and a special honour given to sanitation workers.

For people who wanted to attend, tickets were sold both online and in person a few days before the event, and the whole event was shown live on TV and online streaming sites.

Famous actor Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) shared a nice Independence Day post on social media with his son AbRam. He wrote:

He also stood on the balcony of his home, Mannat, in Mumbai with AbRam, waving to fans—a nice way to show togetherness and love for the country.
